Varieties of Cármenér, Merlot, Cabernet Souvignon, Souvignon Blanc and Chardonnay are frequently awarded at the most prestigious international fairs.

If you wish to taste and to know how Chilean wine is produced, we invite you to follow one of the wine routes. The largest wine producing area is near Santiago due to special geographics and climatc characteristics.

The first option is a tour to Colchagua area, where you can visit six vineyards with wine tasting, visit the Colchagua Museum of the Wine or El Huique House and eat lunch. The tour begin in San Fernando, a city placed 142 Km. from Santiago.

The second option include visits to vineyards of international reputation, covering the area between Talca (257 Km. from Santiago) and Linares. In this valley (El Maule), there are 11 vineyards offering tours that combine museums, traditional farm houses, typical villages, horseback rides up the mountainsides and lunch.
